Coming of Age by G.W. Pomichter
(First printed in the Anthology: An Eternity of Beauty)
We are the children of rebellion, grown from the seeds if idealism,
nourished through the trials of war, strengthened by victories and defeats.
We are challenged by the future and educated by the past.
Our imaginations will shape the world;
it is by our design that ages that follow shall be guided.
Our thirst for knowledge cannot be quenched by tradition;
it must be purged through innovation.
Though bound to our flesh, its shades are no matter;
And steered by our hearts to love in forms less configured,
but greater in capacity and substance,
we are strengthened by our faith,
but the thatch and stone and mortar under which it is learned is of little consequence.
Though, reverent to the creator, whose names are many, they matter not.
We are the future.
We have been called the centennials, the millennials, and Generation X,
but we are Generation extraordinary,
And we are:
Come of Age.

5.0 out of 5 stars-- An Urban Fantasy to Draw You In and Delight You
This a straight-forward and easy to read urban-fantasy that is certain to delight readers and immerse them in a gripping good against evil story without confusing ambiguity.
Cox’s writing has always focused on the interpersonal dynamics of real characters to tell terrific stories, and as tempting as it is to many writers to get caught up in a terrific fantasy setting, Cox is able to hit his mark and keep the action grounded in his characters.
Weighing in at 200 pages, this is a short and face-paced tale with an innovative and original style that will keep readers pinned to the page until the very end.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very entertaining and insightful tale!,
Murder. Mayhem. Intrigue. Racial tensions. When a charred body is discovered in the ashes of the Phoenix Hotel, all of these things are ignited and author Gwen Mayo pulls readers into a complex and well-crafted world of mystery and melodrama.
Mayo’s former Pinkerton Agent turned detective, Nessa Donnelly, is a character that readers won’t soon forget. She left an impoverished past behind to become one of Kentucky's most prominent detectives. Mayo’s thorough exploration of the character makes her all the more sympathetic and is bound to tether readers to the adventure.
This is a story that centers around a murder, but it is easy to suspend disbelief, as Mayo’s reach extends beyond the crime scene into the community and the interconnected lives of its residents.
Mayo writes,”Rival forces are threatening to pull the city apart as the murder ignites old hatreds. Klansmen attack a local police sergeant with family ties to O'Brien.”
This is story strikes a contemporary nerve and is more than a simple murder mystery as it delves into the complex dynamics of racial relations, small town interconnectivity, and human deceits.
Concealed in Ash is a slam dunk and a story that I found both compelling and entertaining!

EXCLUSIVE: Special Excerpt (Deleted Scene) from the world for the new book YESTERDAY'S TOMORROW (Another Journey Begins)
Zero Hour + 01:03:00; 4:00 p.m. EST; University of North Florida, Jacksonville Florida; the Apartment of Terry and Sabrina Wagner
Terry Wagner was a newlywed husband and a student at the University of North Florida. He was just 24-years-old, but as his 6-foot frame filled half of the window, he stared out of his second-floor apartment at the increasingly chaotic streets of Jacksonville, he knew that he and his wife couldn’t stay in the city. The night before he had heard the deafening sounds of breaking glass, and what he could only presume was gunfire in the distance as he held his wife, Sabrina, and tried to sleep.
Until yesterday, Sabrina, a graduate of UNF herself, had been the contented 23-year-old bride setting up housekeeping for her and her husband in their first apartment. Life was largely divided between working her first job at the art gallery and choosing inexpensive and still quaintly charming furnishings for their fresh home. That all changed when the lights went out.
Now, only a day since the power went out, already the city streets just a short walk from campus were beginning to echo scenes from a Hollywood movie about urban unrest. The couple knew that in a few days, they wouldn’t be safe there.
“Bri, honey,” Terry said to his wife as her tiny 5-foot-5-inch body stealthily passed behind him walking toward their bedroom. “We have to leave. We can’t stay here. I’m not sure what’s going on, but I am sure it’s making people a little crazy.”
Sabrina agreed as she stopped only for a moment to run her fingers through his cropped blonde hair. She had already packed some clothes into an old hiking backpack that Terry kept in the closet. She never really understood why he had it. He wasn’t an outdoorsman of any kind and preferred to hunt goblins in video games to the prospect of hunting for a meal or fishing for any reason other than recreation.
“I’ve already packed a few things,” she told him as she passed from sight. Through the walls, he could hear her continue her thoughts out loud. “We just need to pack up some food and water and such. Then, we can get going. Where should we go?”
Terry thought of his mother in Melbourne, just about a 3-hour drive south from him. But without a working car even that seemed a daunting journey.
“I’m not sure, but we have to at least get out of the city and away from people,” he told her.
As Sabrina rifled through the closet to search for anything useful or meaningful as the pair prepared to leave, she found an old hand cranked emergency weather radio.
“Where on earth did you get this?” she asked. “You’re just full of surprises.”
Terry smiled. He had long forgotten the radio existed. He recalled now that his mother had given it to him when he first left for college. Florida was prone to hurricanes, and she told him she wanted to make sure he had it in case of an emergency. She had also told him to always make sure he had plenty of fresh bottled drinking water on hand and clean underwear — two pieces of advice he now wished he had heeded more readily.
“Well, mom was right,” he conceded as he took the small black radio from his wife’s hand and began to crank the plastic handle.
They heard the revving sound of the crank meant to power the radio as it whined with each turn.
“Do you think it works?” Sabrina asked.
“I’m not sure, but with a few more turns we might know what’s going on,” he replied.
Terry cranked the handle faster and harder until he saw the small red LED light atop the box glowing. He then turned the radio facing himself and began to turn the dial to find any signal. As the dial passed over station frequencies he knew were local news and music stations, the couple heard nothing but static. He slowly continued to turn the dial further and further up the range of radio frequencies until he heard the annoying high pitched tones of an emergency broadcast signal.
“This must be it,” he said hopefully. “It sounds like one of those tests on TV.”
Sabrina took her husband’s hand and turned her head to listen while her short, straight. brown hair brushed against his shoulder. She rested her head on the spot and listened as the message played.
“This is an Emergency Transmission. This is not a test. The Eastern Coastal area of the United States is experiencing massive power outages. Authorities believe that this is the result of a terrorist attack on the nation’s power grid infrastructure. Government officials have declared a state of emergency along the eastern Seaboard that extends as far westward as the Mississippi River. Residents are urged to shelter in place until emergency services are restored. Anyone compelled to travel, or traveling en route to the Western United States is urged to travel cautiously and avoid major population centers. Officials urge residents to remain calm. Roads and bridges may be severely congested. Reports indicate that most vehicles are inoperable at this time as are most cellular phones and other electronic devices. There will be updates every 60 minutes on this frequency and this national emergency broadcast will repeat during that period. Thank you and remain calm. This is an Emergency Transmission. This is not a test. The Eastern Coastal area …”
Sabrina clutched Terry’s hand and held it tightly pulling it to her chest. The couple seemed to gasp at the terrible news in unison.
“You’re right, Terry. We need to get away from the city,” she said frantically. In the past 27 hours she had not felt as helpless or desperate as she did now.
“Keep packing,” Terry told her. “We shouldn’t go to mom. She’s not any better off than we are if this is right. She’s likely with Robert and safe, at least as far as we know. We should head west.”
“Are you sure?” Sabrina asked concerned at the prospect of leaving their families behind.
“I’m as sure as I can be,” he responded attentively. “The recording said that out west was better. At least it’s supposed to be better away from the coast. So, we hike out along I-10 until we reach an area that isn’t blacked out. It might take a few days or maybe a week, but it’s the best plan we have. Once we can get a phone or something, my sister, Emily, is stationed out west. We can call her, and maybe she’ll know what’s going on.”
CRASH! TING! SPLASH!
The startled couple leaped frightfully together as the sound of a nearby window breaking shattered their collective calm and rational thought.
“The sooner the better,” Sabrina replied as she jumped slightly following the noise.
Terry stuffed three bottles of water into the top of his backpack and cinched the draw-string closed. He stuck another in the side pocket of the pack and pulled the cover flap over the top snapping it in place. On the small coffee table were two more bottles of water, and a cardboard box containing a six-pack ofdiet soda. He stuck one bottle in his loose pants pocket and handed the other to Sabrina.
“We’ll take this, too,” he said as he handed the box to his wife. “Put in in your school bag. “Grab some of the sandwich meats, and some of the cans of soup and stuff them in too.”
“I’ve got it,” she said. “Here’s the can opener. We’ll be okay, right?”
“We’re okay,” he answered confidently.
Terry wasn’t entirely sure of his answer. He couldn’t remember being as frightened as he was when he heard the radio broadcast. But, he knew he had to be strong. He knew he had to be confident that the couple could find a safe place. Terry knew he had to keep his wife confident of that, too.
“So, to Emily?” Sabrina nervously asked, in a mostly rhetorical voice. “Sounds good.”
With their bags packed as quickly as they could, and the small weather radio tucked under Terry’s arm, the couple headed out of their apartment door and down the stairs. Cautiously looking ahead and behind them, they crossed the street checking for any signs of trouble, they walked past a road sign that read simply:
“To I-295N”

Yesterday's Tomorrow Book (G.W. Pomichter Author)(Free Sampler)
Excerpt: In Summation (Yesterday's Tomorrow) by G.W. Pomichter and William DuPree
The machines of war began to clank and rumble as justice long refused by injury and loss shown ever closer. For a nation reborn from the ashes of the very adversity meant to destroy it, these days were only a beginning.
But, for two families that had once only known the delicate tethers of a modern life to hold them one to another, the trials and tragedies of darkness now brought them into new light.
Whether the taste of apples, once far from their grasp, or the smell of a three course meal cooking in the kitchen, or perhaps the feeling of a son’s hand grasped firmly inside that of his father’s grasp, or the tender kiss of a mother upon a daughter’s cheek, these were the luminous jewels left to light their way no matter their course.
Yesterday’s dull silence was now replaced with the electric hum of power lines, the resurgent grumblings of traffic on a nearby street corner or the lulling cycling of newly restored air conditioning condensers. All around them the sounds of the life they knew beckoned them back into their slumber. But for those awakened to the powerful rhythms of the tenuous threads of warmth, kindness, generosity, faith and affection, that bind family, community and nations together in the molten plasma of common cause, these once powerful siren songs held little distraction from the simplest of joys: the sounds of a child’s laughter or the melodic chant of simple, silent prayer.
Soon, they knew, the proud drums of justice would carry their sons and daughters to far off lands to rage and reign the fires of a just reckoning upon those whose hatred has scarred their land. On this day, the earnest glow of an hour, a single moment in time, not part of a tumultuous tomorrow’s yesterday, but serene and hopeful as the fulfillment of a promise, was filled with all the joy and hope of … Yesterday’s Tomorrow.

RECORD CROWDS EXPECTED IN DOWNTOWN ATLANTA FOR DRAGON CON 2016
Cosplayers, Gamers, and Pop Culture Fans Return for Annual Fantasy, Sci Fi, & Gaming Convention: More than 400 Actors, Artists, Authors, and Creators Will Give Talks and Meet Fans.
ATLANTA – August 16, 2016 – More than 75,000 people are expected to pack downtown Atlanta over the Labor Day weekend as Dragon Con, the internationally known pop culture, sci fi, fantasy, and gaming convention, celebrates its 30th Anniversary.
Dragon Con fans will travel from every state in the nation and a few foreign countries to participate in the four-day convention, where they can meet their favorite actors, artists, authors, and creators, and talk about the stuff they love.
Guests – More than 400 guests, from the worlds of movies, television, comics, literature and other universes, will lead panel discussions and meet with fans. Some of this year’s top guests include William Shatner and Alexander Siddig, who will help mark 50 years of Star Trek plus Alex Kingston, Gillian Anderson, Jack Gleeson, Alan Tudyk, and Charlie Cox.
Brian Henson, master puppeteer and son of the late Jim Henson, will be on hand to talk about the 30th anniversary of Labyrinth. And puppeteers Brian Herring and Dave Chapman will talk about their work as the hands behind BB-8, the ball-shaped droid from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
“We are delighted to have so many guests from so many of today’s most popular or, in the case of classic science fiction, best loved shows and movies to join us for our 30th Anniversary celebration,” convention co-chair Rachel Reeves said. “Overall, we will have some 400 guests – actors, authors, artists and other creators and experts – from across science, science fiction, and fantasy worlds, in whatever medium.”
Parade – For the first time, the annual Dragon Con Parade will be broadcast live on television by Atlanta’s CW69 on Saturday, Sept. 5 beginning at 10 a.m., with a rebroadcast during primetime.
The parade route remains the same as last year. Beginning at the intersection of Peachtree Street and Linden Avenue, the parade will head south on Peachtree, east (left) on Andrew Young International Boulevard and north (left) on Peachtree Center Avenue. It will end on Peachtree Center Avenue between John Portman Boulevard and Baker Street, in front of the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.
The route is convenient to three MARTA stations – North Avenue, Civic Center and Peachtree Center. Parking downtown is expected to be tight, and Dragon Con encourages parade spectators to consider taking MARTA.
Gaming – Already one of the largest gaming conventions in the nation, Dragon Con has expanded its gaming space by more than 60 percent for its 30th Anniversary convention. This year, Dragon Con’s gaming programming will move to the Westin Peachtree Plaza and the adjacent AmericasMart Building One, where it will take up a combined 140,000 square feet. Panels, contests, and parties will be held in the Westin while free gaming, paid tournaments, and similar events will be held in AmericasMart. As always gaming will be open to all Dragon Con members 24x7 for the convention.
“The strength of gaming has been a pillar at Dragon Con since our first convention in 1987. Just as the convention continues to grow, our ability to offer programming and gameplay does too,” convention co-chair Dave Cody said. “We are able to offer our fans more games, more gameplay, and more and better opportunities to talk with voice actors, game designers, and other guests from the worlds of table top and video gaming.”
Cosplay – Dragon Con is well known for the quality of its cosplay – or costume play – and that tradition will certainly continue. The nation’s top cosplayers will show off their best work during the show, participating in costume contests every night of the convention and promenading throughout the five host hotels and the streets of downtown Atlanta.
Cosplay competitions remain a mainstay of Dragon Con, including the queen of competitions, Dragon Con Masquerade, which is both the oldest continuously run competition in fandom as well as one of the largest in the world. The Chôsen, which premiered last year at Dragon Con Night at the Aquarium to a sold out crowd, returns again this year for a second annual appearance.
Official Charity – Earlier this year, Dragon Con selected the Atlanta Center for Self-Sufficiency as its official charity for 2016. Through auctions and other charity events, plus a dollar-for-dollar match up to $50,000 from Dragon Con, the convention will raise money to support this important community organization.
In 2015, the convention raised over $100,000 for its official charity, the Lymphoma Research Foundation – Georgia Market. Through the Superheroes community service program, Dragon Con fans contributed more than 900 hours of community service.
Dragon Con also conducts the largest convention-based blood drive in the nation. Some 3,000 fans donated more than 6,000 units of blood and blood products in the annual Robert A. Heinlein “Pay It Forward” blood drive, benefiting LifeSouth, which serves more than 40 hospital in the Atlanta area and 110 hospitals in the Southeast.

Local Hangin With Web Show to Cover Creators at Space Coast Comic Con
COCOA BEACH -- From September 9, 2016 thru September 11, 2016, at Space Coast Convention Center, 301 Tucker Ln, Cocoa, FL 32926, Florida's Space Coast welcomes freaks and geeks from around the state to celebrate fandom and fun at the 2nd annual Space Coast Comic Con!
Space Coast Comic Con is now in its second Year! We are so very excited to be doing this again. We met some incredible people last year and had an absolute blast!
This year we have some exciting news! ICCON will be joining us for their second year of celebrating Independent Comic Artists. It is truly an honor to have Terrance Baker and his group coming on board and we are surely going to have a great time and their will be some fantastic original art and comics.
Over the years our family has been to many Comic Cons, Anime Expos, and Sci-Fi conventions and as these cons all morph into something completely different over the years the one thing always stays the same. THE FANS. It is amazing so may people (us included) stay dedicated to a story or idea that has effected them passionately. Seeing everyone express there love whether coming out to see their favorite guest, cosplaying as their favorite character, or simply buying a piece of art from a local vendor is awe inspiring.
If you didn’t make it out to last year's inaugural event, then do try this year and come find me and Julie, Jake Estrada or Terrance Baker, you can’t miss us, we will be the ones having the most fun!

Florida Youth Takes Comic Con by Storm!
Cosplay Michael at San Diego Comic Con International
A Brief History of Cosplay:
In 1939 Forest J. Ackerman and Mertal R. Jones were the first people to dress in futuristic costumes at the world science fiction convention (World Con) in NYC. 45 years later in 1984 WorldCon Los Angeles, Japanese reporter Nobuyuki Takahashi coined the term Cosplay while covering the WorldCon costume masquerade. Since then, the art of cosplay has grown into a global phenomenon at conventions from Star Trek conventions to anime conventions to world famous comic con international where Cosplay Michael Pomichter debuted on his first comic con panel.
Today, cosplay can be a hobby, a profession, and even an obsession. (Info above courtesy of Cosplay Nation: (http://www.facebook.com/Cosplay.Nation) Documentary Film)
Michael is just 5-years-old and he began cosplaying like every child as soon as he could dress himself. He went to his first convention at 4-years-old, where he dressed as "Thor.” Michael knows how to put the play in cosplay.
In 2016, Michael was invited by fellow cosplayers and a panel moderator to participate in a celebrity panel at the World-Famous San Diego Comic Con event. The panel, "Cosplaying With Kids," was slated to discuss encouraging kids to express themselves creatively using cosplay as an example. The panel was set for Friday, July 22, 2016, at 2 p.m. and was recorded by Comic Con HQ (Lions Gate Entertainment & Comic Con International).
Michael was invited by fellow cosplayer Kim Henderson McAndrew to join her and daughter Scout as well as Shawn Richter and son Gavin, to participate in the panel. Both Kim and Shawn are veteran cosplayers and Michael and his family were truly humbled and honored to have been selected to join them on stage.
Since his first cosplay, Michael was instantly hooked on playing with other kids and adults in costume at these kinds of events. Because his mom and dad work as web-journalists, Michael has been able to attend many state events. He has his own Facebook page at @cosplaymichael and is on Instagram @cosplaymichael, and he really loves dressing and playing as his favorite characters.
Michael feels like a rockstar!
We do not typically travel so far, as our business is new and finances do not allow it. But this was a great opportunity that rarely presents itself. We said yes, and we worked to raise the funds for the trip.
To save funds, we arranged to stay with family 2 hours away in LA. We drove instead of flying because we are a family of four and it saves funds.
Michael is a very creative young man and all he wants is a chance to show his creativity and encourage others to express themselves.
We all thank you and are grateful to supporters for helping us keep this creative young man on the path to his dreams! We most especially would like to thank Michael’s two prime sponsors, Famous Faces and Funnies Comic Shop(http://www.facebook.com/FFFComics) in Melbourne, and the Historical Miniatures Gaming Society-Southeast. These sponsors donated $250 each to Cosplay Michael to help defer the expenses of the trip and we are happy to support them!
While we have provided a link to our SDCC folder in the google drive, if you have further questions or requests for photos please contact us at (321) 210-6983.

Colt the Outlander is a series about a rogue bounty hunter joined by his alluring yet deadly ladies. Together, they fearlessly scour the abandoned mining wastelands of Neb-6 for fugitives and treasures in fast-paced adventures.
Colt the Outlander, an intellectual property by Aradio Brothers Studios, has ambitions to build their Colt intellectual property into a multimedia platform featuring video games, visual entertainment, comics and, of course, books. Aradio Brothers commented that, “Colt the Outlander has proven itself as great entertainment with amazing characters in a Retro Sci-Fi universe. Now is time to use that rich history and loyal fan base to reach entire new audiences that other mediums can provide. We are ecstatic to see our life’s work expanded upon by the likes of Kevin J. Anderson and the great authors at WordFire Press. It’s an exciting time to be a fan of Colt the Outlander.”
WordFire Press, under its publishers Kevin J. Anderson and Rebecca Moesta who are also internationally bestselling authors, has built an impressive stable of authors and storytellers. WordFire Press also publishes works by Frank Herbert (author of Dune), Pulitzer Prize-winning political novelist Allen Drury (Advise and Consent), New York Times bestsellers, Alan Dean Foster, Jody Lynn Nye, Robert Asprin, and Christie Golden, multiple award-winner Mike Resnick, Nebula award winner Gregory Benford, legendary comics writer Mike Baron, and Rush band member Neil Peart.
This is one of WordFire Press’s first forays into a multimedia tie-in, but with Publisher Kevin J. Anderson’s experience in tie-in properties like Star Wars, DC Comics and others, it will lead Colt the Outlander books on a clear path to success.
Kevin J. Anderson stated, “Colt the Outlander is the property that WordFire Press has been waiting for to bring in an exciting new readership. Aradio Brothers Studios have created a great world and characters for Colt the Outlander. Quincy Allen and I, along with other authors at WordFire Press, look forward to playing in that world and building upon it.”
WordFire Press and Aradio Brother Studios have jointly announced that a teaser novella written by Kevin J. Anderson will be available at the Dominic and RC Aradio’s tables in Artist Alley; AA-23 and AA-24 at the San Diego Comic Con. 5-Year-Old Cosplay Michael is Bound for San Diego Comic Con International
Let's start here with the pitch: Go to http://www.gofundme.com/CosplayMichael and donate if you can.
Nope. There is nothing wrong with this little guy! He doesn't have a rare disease. He isn't from a disadvantaged family or a crumbling neighborhood. He is not unreasonably challenged, any more than any other child of 5-years-old.
Michael is a normal, healthy, happy 5-year-old boy with big dreams, high hopes and a passion for creativity. He is a cosplayer. In short, he enjoys creating, enhancing and dressing up in costumes emulating his favorite comic book and film characters. He takes it quite seriously, and he's good at it.
Michael began dressing up, like most kids, as soon as he was old enough to dress himself. He saved Halloween costumes and played in them around the house. He borrowed mom and dad's clothes and accessories to create original adaptations of any character or imaginary person of which he dreamt. Michael loved everything about pretending, and then something really wonderful happened. He went to a convention.
Michael's mom, a business major and I, a published author of 5 books, own and operate a small business producing a web talk series called the Hangin With Web Show. We travel to conventions and conferences and interview writers, artists, filmmakers and creators of all kinds and share new artists as well as celebrity entertainers with the world wide web. In 2015, we attended our first pop culture convention: Necronomicon in Tampa Florida. To help occupy our 4-year-old while we worked, we let him bring some of his costumes and dress up, "like the grown-ups." He was hooked!
He found a sense of community in the immediate acceptance of adult cosplayers and convention attendees wanting photos and stopping to encourage him. He met an adult dressed as Marvel Comic's "Loki," and himself dressed at Thor (complete with a home-made hammer), they "played." They two battled center floor in the hotel lobby and the cosplayer, a man easily in his late 20's or even early 30's, had no trouble channeling his own inner child to play and pose and have fun with 4-year-old Michael. We never did learn the man's real name, but we are so grateful for the time he took to make a small child's weekend so very special.
Following that weekend, our show became more popular and we found ourselves at more conventions and conferences where Michael could play and dress and be a part of this new community that both he and we had discovered.
Michael made so many friends and fellow creative cosplayers at conventions, that we decided to set up a facebook page for his endeavors. Of course, his mom and I monitor it and share posts with him. While he does read some, he needs a bit of help and we like to know who is posting.
In the spring of 2016, just a few short months ago, while reading his news feed to him, we were surprised to see a message from a fellow cosplayer. Most just posted on his wall, but this one sent him a "private" message. The message was an invitation to Cosplay Michael (his Facebook name) to participate (with his parents) in a panel at world famous San Diego Comic-Con International. The panel now set for Friday, July 22, 2016, at 2 p.m. and to talk about his love of cosplay and the cosplay and convention culture in which he now finds himself making friends and feeling comradeship.
We were surprised. We were a little jealous. We were a lot intimidated. But his host was pleasant and cordial and his excitement was anything but muted.
"I'm a cosplay rock star," he exclaimed. "Alright, let's go to comic con!"
Well, that's where our journey began. Now with just days until our trip begins, we are still hoping to be able to offset the expenses of the trip with the help of this amazing community and those artists, authors, filmmakers, and creators we have tried to help for the past year. While we have had some success with our own show, we have yet to travel out of state or such a great distance as San Diego, CA. We live and work in Melbourne, Florida.
We have even applied for, and been approved for press access to the highly touted Nerd HQ, where many celebrities and pop culture icons gather to raise funds for Operation Smile. We don't mind "singing for our supper," as it were, and we intend to do just that. We don't mind at all working for our blessings, and teaching Michael how to do the same.
We do need help, though, still. The trip is long across America. It will take gas. We'll need to eat. We'll need to sleep. We'll need time off from "day-jobs." But it is al worth it to us to help Michael realize a dream and to demonstrate to him that he can accomplish anything if he is willing to work hard for it. We want him to learn from the trip. We want him to appreciate being a part of this global and vast community, to appreciate the art and creativity that is expended in this endeavor, to appreciate the fellowship of other with like ambitions and powerful dreams. We want Michael to continue to learn to express himself and to encourage others to do that same.
You can help, and I hope you will. Thank you for taking the time to read this article. It means everything to us. Please share it with as many as you can. We ask that if you are able you take a few more moments to click: http://www.gofundme.com/CosplayMichael and DONATE. Just $10 will add to the donations of family and friends and help to make this seemingly simple wish come true. It does add up. You can make a difference to us! Donate TODAY

Game of Thrones Reactions/Review S6E10 (The Winds of Winter)
Wow! SPOILER ALERT: WE give this episode 5 Stars for its ability to deliver everything viewers have been looking forward to and setting the stage for an epic future at the same time. Many shows can tie up loose ends and wrap a season, and many others capture the imagination for coming episodes and season, but Game of Thrones season finale manages to do both with almost flawless precision!
This Season 6 finale of the hit HBO show Game of Thrones, based on the best-selling George R.R. Martin A Song of Ice and Fire series of novels, brings one of the series' best seasons to a climactic and dramatic close. Season 6, episode 10 is titled "The Winds of Winter," and despite it's chilling and fitting title, delivers a smokin' hot finish to the 10 episode season arc. For fans around the globe, it also pays off some fan theories (R + L = J), and much anticipated vengeful carnage.
Showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff have stepped up their already blockbuster level filmmaking to bring fans and viewers an episode sure to delight and thrill audiences everywhere. Echoing The Godfather, all family business is settled, and the body count clears the board and sets it for the Ultimate "Game of Thrones"

WordFire Press Teams with Humble Bundle for Innovative “Sci-Fi Specials” Bundle WordFire Press and Humble Bundle have announced their second partnership with an ambitious “Sci-Fi Specials Bundle” featuring 18 major titles in a pay-what-you-want grab bag, for a limited time.
Kevin J. Anderson, publisher of WordFire Press and an international bestselling author in his own right with 23 million copies of his works in print, says, “Bundles offer an exciting and innovative way for a new independent publisher to draw attention to a lot of titles at once—and everybody benefits, from the authors, to the readers, to the designated non-profits.” Last year, Humble Bundle ran a successful bundle featuring only WordFire Press titles which sold over 11,000 copies in only two weeks.
“The new Sci-Fi Specials Bundle is the best one we’ve ever run,” Anderson says. Instead of just a grab bag of books, fully half of the 18 titles in the Sci-Fi Specials Bundle are not available to the public at the time of the Bundle launch on April 6.
One book—the new anthology Decision Points, featuring stories by bestsellers and award winners Jody Lynn Nye, Lois McMaster Bujold, Robert J. Sawyer, Jonathan Maberry, Kevin J. Anderson, and a never-before-collected Ender’s Game story by Orson Scott Card—is included here as an advance pre-production proof. The remaining books in the bundle have never previously appeared in any other bundle. The Sci-Fi Specials Bundle includes books by Alan Dean Foster, F. Paul Wilson, Dune author Frank Herbert (a collection of four previously unpublished novels), Kevin J. Anderson, J. A. Pitts, Andrew Mayne, Mario Acevedo, D.J. Butler, Ramon Terrell, Neo Edmund, Jason Henderson, Shean Pao, Quincy J. Allen, Peter J Wacks and J.R. Boyett, Josh Vogt, and Aaron Michael Ritchey. Readers choose the amount they want to pay, and the bundle unlocks more titles at certain bonus levels. A portion of the proceeds goes directly to the designated charities—the Challenger Learning Centers for Space Science Education and the Emergency Medical Fund for the Science Fiction Writers of America.
The Sci-Fi Specials Bundle will run exclusively from April 6 through April 20, after which it will no longer be available. https://www.humblebundle.com Humble Bundle sells digital content through its pay-what-you-want bundle promotions and the Humble Store. When purchasing a bundle, customers choose how much they want to pay and decide where their money goes—between the content creators, charity, and Humble Bundle. Since the company's launch in 2010, Humble Bundle has raised more than $71 million through the support of its community for a wide range of charities, providing aid for people across the world.
Nominate Yesterday's Tomorrow for 5-Year Publishing Deal
Yesterday’s Tomorrow is a near future thriller about a world forever changed by a devastating terrorist attack that could either cripple the free world or pull communities together as never before.
This will be the 5th book released by author and journalist G.W. Pomichter, who is the host of the growing internet series, the Hangin’ With Web Show, on which he promotes indie authors, artists, filmmakers and other creators through fun and casual interviews. Pomichter was joined in this project by co-author William DuPree.
The pair have been friends for more than a decade, but this is the first time they have collaborated a project of this kind.
If selected for publication, Yesterday’s Tomorrow will be granted a 5-year e-book and audio publishing contract by Amazon Publishing, and DuPree and Pomichter will also be releasing the book in paperback.
“It is a great privilege to participate in the Kindle Scout program and to give readers a chance to help bring this story to life,” said DuPree.
“We have been working on this story for the past year, running various scenarios and narratives to give this world a very 3 dimensional and real-to-life feel,” Pomichter added. “It is going to be something that readers will find completely immersive.”
To help produce Yesterday’s Tomorrow, visit the Kindle Scout campaign page and nominate it for publication.
